Having a vision is the reason you're here, and is the essence that motivates me to get you to that end goal. There is no better feeling than to see the excitement on a clients face when that vision becomes reality.
Past I Present
I knew my career path around the age of 10. Watching Home Time with Bob Villa on TLC, I asked my mom what I would need to do in life to build these amazing homes for people. That was the first time I heard the word Architect.
I attended a high school with an architectural design elective, achieved my Masters Degree at Lawrence Tech University, and have worked in commercial engineering and a large firm specializing in Higher Ed and Science and Tech.
I started DesignsByJDS in 2016 after flipping my first house for my wife and I to start our life in, and fell in love with the residential side of the industry. I've taken all that I've learned, and skills I've perfected, and channeled it into a means to share that feeling of seeing something on paper become a final product.
